FACTS OF EMFR
Studies have highlighted the effects that EMFR’s have on humans and animals. In most cases these studies provide evidence that you should limit your exposure to EMFR. In today’s day and age completely avoiding EMFR would be impossible. In the same studies that showed EMFR being harmful, experts also reach a common ground that a 3mG cutoff point is acceptable. The EPA (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency) has proposed a safety standard of 3 mG. Sweden has also set a recommended safety limit of 3 mG. Exposing ourselves to less EMFR is just one more way to insure good health. Our infrared yoga panel heaters are designed to emit lower than 3mg at an inch away from the heater.from the heater.
A typical Fluorescent lamp in an office ceiling has readings of 160 to 200 mG at one inch away from the light. EMFR levels emitted from our Yoga Panels are the lowest in the industry with reported measurements up to 40 times lower than our competitors.
THE EPA: ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY
The EPA Recommended that EMFs be classified as a Class B carcinogen — -a “probable human carcinogen and joined the ranks of formaldehyde, DDT, dioxins and PCBs. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) warns “There is reason for concern” and advises prudent avoidance” (In a draft report issued in 2002)
California Electric Acknowledges research may provide evidence in the harmful effects of EMFR’s and recommends limiting exposer.
IN NOVEMBER 1989: The Department of Energy reported that “It has now become generally accepted that there are, indeed, biological effects due to eld exposure.”
MAY TO OCTOBER 2009: Several Governors in the United States and Mayors in Canada have proclaimed various months as Electromagnetic Sensitivity (EMS) Awareness Month.
WHAT CAN EMF’S DO?
• EMF causes headaches.
• EMF causes lack of Energy
• EMF causes birth defects & abortions
• EMF can negatively effect sex life
• EMF causes depression
• EMF can cause Alzheimer’s Disease
• EMF can cause major illness’ such as cancer
• EMF is the main cause of insomnia
DR. DAVID CARPENTER
Dean at the School of Public Health, State University of New York believes it is likely that up to 30% of all childhood cancers come from exposure to EMFs.
DR. MARTIN BLANK
A professor at Columbia University’s Department of Physiology and Cellular Biophysics. Appeared on Canada AM on Wed. May 27 2009. He warned about the negative health effects of EMFs, from cell phones and power lines and said that they may lead to brain tumors, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia and breast cancer.
JOHNS HOPKINS UNIVERSITY
Discovered that telephone workers exposed to low levels of EMF had a greater incidence of leukemia than a control group.
